Nick is an an avid clinician and teacher in the state of Utah and surrounding areas. While Nick was marching he completed his degree in Music Education from the University of Utah and taught at several marching programs around the state including: Davis High School, Riverton High School, American Fork High School, and Grantsville High School. He currently serves as the Percussion Director at Herriman High School and keeps a private studio of 15-20 students. Apart from his main roles, Nick has previously served as the Battery Caption Head and Music Director for Gold Spike Percussion from Ogden, Utah. Nick also serves as the Battery Coordinator at the Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps and a Snare Technician at the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble. 

As a performer, Nick has a depth of experience in many areas. In his degree track, Nick was appointed as the Principal Percussion for the Utah Wind Ensemble and was the Timpanist for the Utah Philharmonia. Nick has world-class DCI experience marching the Seattle Cascades in 2011-2013, and the Madison Scouts from 2014-2015. Recently, Nick was selected as a top-5 finalist for the Snare Drum position in the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps. His musicianship is widely respected and is reflected in the ensembles he instructs.
